It's been a long time since I wrote my blog and today I finally find the time to write my blog.. Not that I am an active blogger, but I always use my blog just to express my feelings at times when I really got nothing much to do or when I am super depressed.. So right now, I am really free to write it. Anyway, the next five days, I will be going back to Malaysia after spending a year and a half in Seoul, South Korea. After I finish my exam which is just this morning, I realized something. After I go back to Malaysia for my summer holiday, will I be the same Taiping whom my parents or my friends familiar with or will they see a new Me? I was wondering because travelling or experiencing foreign life could actually reshape a person way of thinking. And as for me, I found out that I have actually changed myself ; my way of thinking and doing stuff as if I was Koreanized... But I don't really know that have I changed into a good way or a bad way.
For the past few days, I have been thinking a lot about my future as in what should I do after i graduated from my university, Hanyang University. I kept thinking which way is actually would benefit my, get a job or go to graduate school.. Either way, I kept thinking about it because both seems to be a good route for me to achieve success in life. Too much thinking for a first year-degree student, you would say.

These past few days, I was quite lonely and all those lonely times, as always, I think about useless stuffs like 'what should I do today' or ' I wonder hows the weather today'. Weird you may think, but it is true. Whenever you are alone, you tend to think stupid stuffs and I find it really time-occupying activity. Suddenly something came up to my mind. Something that my Korean friends asked me a few months ago. 'Hey Gus, since you are gonna be here long, are you going to get a Korean girlfriend? I was like' I don't know man. Who knows, maybe I will, maybe not'. But deep down, I am not ready for a relationship and I will never ever try to hit on Korean girls. Some of you may think,'Why not? Korean girls are really pretty and they always have this baby-faced expression". Yes but it's not the appearance that I looked into girls. For guys, of course appearance comes first but that particular girl does not have the attitude, my friend, you will regret it. In my opinion, it's the inner beauty that really makes the girl look beautiful. And seriously, I find most of the Korean girls( SORRY NO OFFENCE!!) seems to be lacking that particular attitude. But that doesn't mean all the Korean girls are rude or whatsoever. I am just saying based on my point of view. I apologize if I have said anything wrong about it.
Being away from home for a long time actually keep my spirit alive for certain reason but at the same I craved something that will really make more energized. You guys may think, "Aha, Missing Malaysian Food?" Of course, I miss Malaysian food but the actual thing that I am craving now is spiritual bonding. You see, being a Hindu in Korea is really tough because in Korea, Hinduism is only being practiced among the Indian immigrant students and blue-collar workers here or at least a really number of Korean Hindus here. Food can be a problem a times if you are a strict Hindu follower. Most of the Korean food are mainly consist of pork and beef. Not only that, in Korea only, we only have two Hindu temples which makes it quite difficult carry out prayers because it is too far to some Hindu followers. I was once a strict Hindu follower but in Korea as I got busy with studies and work, I find my spiritual bonding with God and my soul are slowly deteriorating. Of course there are times when I am lonely, I pray to God and seek peace within myself. Things were a little hard in Korea but for now, I am going to forget that and wait the day I return home... Wait for me guys.. Daddy's coming home~

Uni Life~

I just came back from my Maths class and started playing Counter-Strike ( which I basically do almost everyday). Then, I got bored, so I was listening to this band song which I saved in my Youtube account. While I was listening to it, my eyes got caught with this Tamil song which on the Youtube list. It was the song that I used to heard when I was in Form 4. Oh God! Those times... I still remember when I was in Form 4.Even though it was kind of boring life back then but it was kind of a good back then with my crazy friends.
Actually it was the song that triggers my life as a high school kid back then.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmDljgLIC_0

Back then, I was a bit quiet and could not care less about anything. I always take things for granted and I was never really independant that time. When I look at myself right now, maybe I did changed for the good (maybe a little and that includes I am less afraid with girls right now ) Anyway, things in university was a bit different from what i expected (well, i was expecting for something wild, if you know what i mean, hehehe) and yeah the environment was kind of friendly too. There was this feeling that I know i could make friends right here, and you know what? I did make some friends. Some of them was from China and mostly Korean. Sometimes Korean, they can act like they are the cool and macho kid, but when it comes to meeting foreigner, they would like shuns off. It's like they are not that really used to seeing foreigner. Well, what do they expect from a brown guy like me? Hahahaha. Anyway, I m staying dormitory right now and it is way better than my old house (BIG TIME!)

5 hours trip to Daehangno

It all started when me and my friends decide to meet up up at Daehangno around 2pm and this was about one week ago. You might be asking what is Daehangno? Daehangno used to be the former Seoul National University campus( mainly Arts and Literature) around 1970s. Later around 1980s it is shifted to Gwanak Campus which is formerly known as today Seoul National University. You may as what is Daehangno today? Today's Daehangno is one of the most popular places of attraction among the tourists and Korean youngsters. Although Daehangno might look small but the things they have there is big to offer..

Okay. Firstly in Daehangno, there is this two guys are doing street performance. The guy in red always play guitar and sings almost any songs he know(seems unlimited but only Korean songs) and the guy with the weird face expression plays drum. Why youngster seems to interested with these guys it's because of their talents to entertain people with musics and jokes. Their jokes are really funny( of course in Korean) and they can really control the crowd. Next we moved on and start searching for something to eat. And to be frank, there is a lot of restaurants here, choose one and go in. We just go in a normal Japanese restaurant and eat some Udon. Later after that, at the streets of Daehangno you will notice some weird art sculptures and they have it along the streets.

I don't know why they have it there but it looks kinda cool.

Next, we walked about 10 minutes to Sungkyunkwan University and, yes it is. That is the very place that Sungkyunkwan Scandal was shooted. I really wish i could do something to repay them back for being a good friend.... they were like a really close friends to me and they seriously do anything for each other... for that i really respect them.. now i really felt the 'kerinduan'.... today i went to the school... and i was sitting on the corner of the school.... i remembered the day i came to SGI when i was in form 1..... i remember i was only 142cm when i came in.. haha.. i left with 183cm...haha.. i met these two dudes when i was in form 2... they were like the nerds of those days.. but now they are a really good and very cool buddies.... i also remember when i camped at school when i was in form 1... but all those things i learn during camp now were just a memories to me.... i wish i could turn back the time and enjoy all those things back then... there is this famous legend in my school that at 5sc.1, u can actually see a lady in red walking around in my ex-class in the morning at 2-3am..... and also the headless basketball player in our school...... all those stories... the chill in the morning .... the angry senior would whoop our ass for being sleepy at 3am in the morning........... i really miss those days........... and when i reach here last friday, our geng is all missing... is like there is only a few guys left... and chee leong was back for break... luckily we got some reunion with the geng..hahaha maybe i will give a credit for H1N1..... mun keong became my friend through jogging and LASALLIAN.... we really enjoy those days when in form 4.... i also really hope to join the form 6 just to go the National Conevention..... we also always jog everday after SPM just to fill the empty time... then Kok leong join us... so there 3 of us really become close and we share almost everything including our secrets... we also talk about our future and will we meet after a few years???? all that stuffs la.... but we did make a deal with the geng that we will meet each other after 10 years our SPM at Penang Queensbay Mall.... haha............ even now i m worried that will our friendship last if one of us is leaving for further studies??? i felt very very sad when i m writing this blog.... everytime i looked at those people faces, like our friends at school... the first thing that come to my mind was how i met them and how we become friends... i noe its sounds very ridiculous but these people did played a part in my life and what i am today is because of these people.... and i really appreciate it ..... and every moment in taiping i enjoy it slowly and nicely... because the next 6 years i will be in korea and i may not be able to enjoy these thing already.... so every semester break i will cum back just to spend time with these bargels...... hahaha.........i really donno wat am i goin to do without you guys????

today we are goin to party like hell at the restaurant... and this time we got new geng to party.. so just wait for mun keong to upload his blog..... next time on my next break............
learning a new language

Today i have just started my Korean language after along time of orientation and all sort off stuff. Actually i may not say that i have just started learning since today is just a small briefing about what are we goin to learn and something like that. And just to make things really nice, our Korean lecturers are very good and they are very nice to us. Eventhough some of us may not have the idea of what is Korean language and how does it works, the lecturers say that we will be able to speak and write Korean after two weeks. That made us confident that we might be able to cope with the difficultied of learning a new language. Not only that, we also pick up a few words just for normal thihgs like saying 'HELLO',GOODBYE and introduction. Hopefully I will be able to master it or at least try to speak just as nice like how the Koreans do.Tomorrow is the real thing and I will be learning the real stuff starting of tomorrow.Hopefully I will be able to continue writing my blogs.Thank you....

the day before i leave taiping..

it was saturday and i really want to say is that whatever that i done to you guys whether good or bad(usually bad).. i m very sorry.. i know that i was immature at that time but i learn my lesson and i want to have a new start.. will you give me the chance???

last friday, i was playing chess with Havin(it was raining and we suppose to have a outdoor game).
